Decorated sugar cookies are time consuming works of art! Dusting your cookies with cornstarch helps prevent details from smearing and smudging (especially if you paint or print your cookies).  Use the cookie duster to dust your cookies without making a big ole' mess.  Just unscrew the base, fill with about 1 TBS cornstarch and dust your cookies.  Bonus - it looks cute too!
